New independent MRO and jet management business JMI Aviation Group, has secured Part-145 status after impressing the UK CAA with Centrik during its approval audit.
Centrik’s modular functionality provided JMI with a quick and easy way to demonstrate the competence and capabilities of its operation to the Regulator. Through Centrik’s intuitive interface, JMI can now manage every element of its Part-145 operations – including reporting, auditing, aircraft paperwork and inventory – in real time, via a few simple clicks, from anywhere, at any time.
Ed Griffith, Director, JMI Aviation Group, says: “New Part-145 approvals are often challenging, but Centrik made the whole process simple, straightforward and seamless. Everything to do with our operations can be shared with the Regulator almost instantly, so it’s easy for them to see the effectiveness of our policies and procedures.”
The Kidlington-based business is using the system’s extensive range of core features – which includes safety management, risk recording, compliance, training and document control. The system also handles the company’s day-to-day, MRO-specific documentation requirements – which primarily focuses on Cessna Citations and Dassault Falcons.
Griffith adds: “Centrik has been an integral tool as we’ve built our new company. It’s so easy to use and it manages the entirety of our business. The system has been incredible in freeing up our time, reducing our costs and most importantly of all, making it simple for us to pass our approval audit.”
With Centrik having impressed the CAA, MROs around the globe can benefit from an even more effective operational management solution.
In addition to utilising Centrik’s MRO management capabilities, JMI is also using the system to monitor training currency and safety for its jet management arm, which provides skilled pilots for business jet owners.
